Wakame miso soup with noodles

Other than porridge, soup noodles is also Leah's another alternative meal of the day.
This miso soup base very easy to cook, but some mummies think miso will be too salty for kids, and most of the commercials miso paste selling in the supermarket contains alcohol (ethyl alcohol).

This ethyl alcohol is a natural preservative to keep the miso paste to be kept and also to stop the beans from continuing fermentation. I am ok with this small amount of alcohol as long as we know what we are giving to our children.

Miso is believed to benefit our digestion, energize our body, restore probiotic in our intestine and etc, although it's belongs to high-sodium food (ard 1tsp contains 200-300mg of sodium). However, research shows it don't effect our cardiovascular system in the way of some other high sodium food.

<Ingredients>
Miso paste 1tbsp
Water 3-4cups
Carrots
Small red Onions
Soaked wakame
Meat

<Methods>
Boil the water and put in the carrots and red onions (or any other vegetables).
Boil until the carrots become soft, turn off the fire and stir in the miso paste and put in the wakame.
DONE

**remember don't add too much miso, just a moderate amount will do

You can add in tofu, tomatoes, potatoes, pumpkin, there are so many choices to mix and match!

Happy cooking :)
