This is yummy savory chicken wings for little ones, recipe adapted from FB group <Healthy Food for baby> Shared by mummy Celine Tan and amended by myself.
I made two versions of this with the same marinate sauce, with and without the salt and soy sauce. The kids version (without the salt and soy sauce), has a slightly sweetness in the meat, perfect enough for kids and even myself like that light and sweet flavor.
The adult version is more savory with salt and soy sauce to boost the flavourness of the chicken.
Ingredients:
Handful of grapes
Handful of cherry tomatoes or three normal tomatoes
Three cloves of fresh garlic
Mixed herbs
Pepper and salt (optional)
Blend the grapes, tomatoes and garlic until purée. Add in mixed herbs, salt & pepper.
Pour the mixture onto the chicken, cover and put into the fridge overnight or at least 4-6 hours.
Heat oven to 180degree C and bake for 30mins, slightly golden brown for kids .
Brush some honey and soy sauce on the surface of the chicken on the last 10mins to create a more brownish outlook.
The original recipe was supposed to stew the chicken, I will try next time :), I'm sure it will be very tasty as well!
