Chocolate chips & Raisins Scones

 
<Ingredients>
500g Self-Raising flour
50g caster sugar
110g room temperature butter (pls put more for buttery taste)
300ml milk
1 egg yolk


<How to make>
1) Mix flour, sugar and butter in a big mixing bowl, crump with hands

2) Make a well in the flour mixture, pour in the milk and dried fruits/nuts/ chocolate chips mix with spatula. Do not over mix.


3) place the dough on a floured surface. Sprinkle the dough with flour to avoid sticking hands. Press flat till 1" thick then cut with round mould or just cut into square with a knife.

4) brush the yolk wash on top of the scones.

5) bake 200degree Celcius for 12-30mins, depends on the size or until golden brown.
